Happy Hoos Return Policy
At Happy Hoos, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. However, we understand that sometimes items may need to be returned or exchanged. To facilitate a smooth process, please review our return policy below:
1. Return Eligibility & Conditions

You must request a return within 14 days from the date you receive your order.

Items must be unused, in original condition, with all tags, labels, and original packaging intact. Item should have no writing.

Some items are final sale / non-returnable — e.g. personalized goods, custom orders, custom gift sets or items explicitly marked “No Returns.”

You’ll need proof of purchase (order number, invoice, receipt).

If your item is received damaged or defective, contact us immediately (usually within the same return window) and provide a photo.
2. How to Request a Return (Self-Serve via Order Account)

Log in to your account on our store and go to Order History / Your Orders.

Find the order containing the item(s) you want to return and click “Request Return / Return Item” (this option will appear only if the order is eligible under the rules).

Choose the item(s) you want to return and select a reason (e.g. wrong size, changed mind, defective).

We will review the request manually and send you instructions—often including a prepaid return shipping label if you qualify.

Once we receive the returned item and confirm its condition, we will authorize a refund or exchange as detailed below.
3. Return Shipping & Costs

Unless otherwise stated, you will be responsible for paying the shipping cost to return the item (unless it was damaged, defective, or our error).

If we provide a prepaid return label, the cost of the label may be deducted from your refund (unless it’s a defective / wrong item).

Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of defects or errors.

Use a shipping method with tracking, and keep your return tracking number until the return is complete.
4. Refunds, Exchanges, or Store Credit

After we receive your returned item and inspect its condition, we will notify you whether your return is approved.

If approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method (minus return shipping, if applicable) within 5–7 business days (or whatever processing time you choose).

Partial refunds may be given if the item isn’t in original condition, is missing parts, or shows signs of use.
5. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days.

Send us photos of the defect, your order number, and a description of the issue.

We will either replace the item, issue a refund or offer another suitable solution.
6. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
The following cannot be returned (unless defective):

Custom or personalized goods such as customized gift sets

Gift cards

Items marked “Final Sale”

Products that have been used, washed, or altered
7. Abuse & Return Fraud Protection

We reserve the right to deny returns if fraud is suspected (e.g. repeated returns from the same customer, tampered returns, abuse of policy).

If a return is denied, we will notify you and offer alternatives (such as sending item back to you at your own cost).
8. How We Handle Inventory & Restocking

Returned items that pass inspection will be restocked.

We may charge a restocking fee (e.g. a percentage) if item condition is below original.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Return & Refund Policy as needed. Happy Hoos reserves the right to amend this return policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website
